Something from Kate is a boutique catering company dedicated to providing its clients with a unique and delicious culinary experience so that special occasion will create an evocative and long lasting memory.

We understand that each function needs it’s own stamp of individuality and to achieve this we liaise closely with our clients to ensure this is achieved. Whether it is a glamorous and elegant soiree, a funky gathering or a themed affair we are dedicated to providing tailor made menus and those finishing touches that weave an experience to remember.

Weddings are that ultimate occasion where everything must be perfect. Kate can provide that atmosphere with a specially catered event or with her beautiful wedding cakes. We are more than happy to guide you through the process of choosing exactly the style of food you are looking for to make sure your Wedding is exactly as you envisaged.

Kate holds a special passion for her cakes. After completing a Bachelor of fine arts in sculpture followed by a Le Cordon Bleu Degree, in cuisine and patisserie, her cakes and wonderfully realistic sugar roses take your breath away. While her children’s cakes are much sought after. Her artistic ability encompasses every aspect of the company but her cakes bring it to life.

We are just coming back to some form of normality and I wanted to write and say thank you so much for the beautiful job you and your staff did with the catering for the wedding. I have had so many comments from guests about how good the food was, and I also got to try some of it and it was lovely. The day went so fast, but last night we watched a video and it showed quite a bit of you guys preparing food and obviously things were under control out there! I am going to send you some photos when they come back, but in the meantime a heartfelt thanks from Bruce and I for doing such a wonderful job. The desserts were stunning too.
