Wedding Cars & Transport
Get to the church on time and in style! Go for a red hot Ferrari or ride on horseback; land in a helicopter or opt for the classic stretch chauffeured limo. The point is… you get there!
Whatever you decide on, your chosen wedding day transport needs to be reliable and get you there on time looking cool, calm and collected. Make sure you can get in and out of your chosen transport with ease to avoid any last minute rips or tears in your wedding dress. Oh tragedy!
As a general guide, you will need three cars to cater for the bridal party. The bride and her father travel together in one car with the mother of the bride and bridesmaids in a second car and the groom and groomsmen in a third car. If there are more bridal party members, add another car or two to the entourage.
Arriving at the Ceremony
The groom and groomsmen will arrive first and take their place. The mother and bridesmaids should arrive next and finally the bride and her father. Aim to get there 10 or 15 minutes early to allow for any last minute changes, check your hair and makeup and take a deep breath.
Leaving the Ceremony
If you’re moving on from the ceremony venue immediately after the wedding, you and your new husband will ride in the first car to the reception or next photography location. The bridal party (bridesmaids and groomsmen) ride together in the next car with the bride’s parents and the grooms parents in the third. Your wedding guests will follow.
